GRASSLANDS TRAVEL SIZE

I first bought grasslands as a sample some years ago, but I worried it was too powerful for me as a regular rotation scent… except when I ran out of it, I realized how much I had fallen in love. On the first spritz, it opens up strong, but it fades into something that, at least on me, feels like a skin scent, something only people close to you would be able to smell – it’s perfectly sultry! I find myself reaching for this mostly in the autumn and winter when I want to sort of have a woody-camp feel about me, but it can be nice on especially sweaty summer days if you are in the mood for something provocative.

Soft, airy, smells like walking through a meadow after it rains. Unique and addictive ❤️

I have some sensitivity that makes me prone to migraines with certain scents. I just depends on the specific scent- anything too sweet or strong can set it off (yang lang, jasmine, gardenia) but then other times it’s just random..

I’m careful about what I order because of this. I got the sample pack and one of my picks was sweet grass. The other 3 I chose were a no-go but I am now addicted to sweet grass. It’s a lovely scent - light enough to be non irritating for me but still has some earth and musky notes. It definitely calls the scent of sweet grass to mind. I am in love.

I initially chose this as part of a sample pack but as soon as I smelled it and then wore it, I knew I needed a larger size. Travel size is perfect for me as it's still quite a lot! I'm prone to migraines and department store perfumes usually make me feel ill. This scent is an end of summer/early autumn dream and doesn't provoke migraines (nor do any of the other fragrances I got in the discovery set). It's like a warm, sun-drenched field of dried grasses, with a light sweetness that's not cloying. It really does invoke sweetgrass, despite not containing any. I find it a very comforting scent.

It's sweet but not floral which I love.
