I haven't worn "perfume" in many years, since Chanel stopped carrying one I'd worn since I was a young woman. Its scent sank into my skin like a fine moisturizer, melding with my personal scent into something elusive, enchanting and truly my own. Since then I've used natural oils sparingly, not trying to mix them together. I was intrigued by your ad and though you call these perfumes, they are formulated with natural oils, so I thought to give them a try and ordered your Discovery sample set. What fun am I having and what a great idea!
One day I'll spray myself with one and keep it on for a few hours, then wash my wrists and try another. The next day I'll try a new one. This is so very much better than spraying myself in a store, as I can actually live with the scent, to determine if it's for me or not, and can spray myself again, to compare it with another. Awesome idea guys.
Some I find too 'bright' for me. I'll find friends to give them to. One I'd love to smell on a man, so I set that one aside. Then I hit Smoked Bloom and stayed with it the rest of the day. It nestled into my skin like it had lived there forever and mingled with me like an old lover who knows me completely. Like my old Chanel used to do. Then I found Troubled Spirits, who did much the same thing. It's like both of those were formulated just for me. This evening I tried Fin de Siecle and I'm loving it as well. It's a bit more stand-outish - maybe more of an evening scent for me, or maybe it's the opposite, a bright sunny day. I've lived with Sweetgrass oil for years and your Grasslands comes very close. I'm enjoying the slight difference. I have three more to try this week. I may just stick with your samples in order to have a variety on hand. Thank you for them!
