Eau de Parfum Discovery Set

I really wanted to love at least one of these but I have 4 samples left to try and have been pretty disappointed overall. These are very much skin scents, not perfumes meant to provide longevity or a trail whatsoever. I've been learning a lot more about what notes I'm after and perfumes better suited for me... that said, was surprised at how much I was actually turned off by a few. Initial spray vs dry down on most can change quite dramatically, which isn't the most unusual, but disappears from your skin quite rapidly. So far Fruit Thieves is probably my favourite, and Gilded. Didn't like Sweetgrass at all. Would suggest using them more as clothes or fabric refreshers, or on bedding for some warmth/coziness because they linger more there in a subtle way. Sadly won't be buying a full bottle but I am curious about the incense cones for a room fragrance. I like the brand concept, but it just didn't land for me.

I really wanted to love these perfumes and was excited to get the Discovery set. Unfortunately almost all scents were a huge disappointment - they just don't smell great to be honest.

It's heavy handed but no silage, a lot of smells jammed into each little vial that compete with each other, not compliment. Nothing subtle about them and scents like rose and citrus smack you in the face brutally - nothing warm or intoxicating, more like old lady and bug spray. And weirdly, they have an artificial smell that makes me think I'm wearing cheap drugstore perfume like when I was 16....ugh....

The descriptions were all so good, I was really excited to try and support a Canadian business but sadly, this is one perfume brand I won't be coming back to at all.

I ordered this info set for a friend and felt a land off envy so I snagged one for myself. Love to support Canadian niche houses and can't wait to buy some full bottles. Quality scents. Highly recommend.

I'm going slow, trying each one for several days. So far I've worn Troubled Spirits which was long lasting & moody.
NOW I'm wearing Fin de Siecle & it's gentle & wispy.

Ordered the discovery set as an artists date for the "artists way" really loved all of them. Ive always been a sniff the fragrances at the airport kind of guy. Ive never had my own scent.

Also i was thinking of fragrance as something to do with attraction and desire in socializing. With the discovery sets gender neutral perfumes its more like aroma therapy for yourself! Will probably get a full bottle-- still not decided which one.
