SEX & JASMINE

Just got mine a week ago, took awhile to receive products. I ordered samples to try the other scents too. I like fruit thieves its something I don't know,it reminds me of passion fruit smells!! And the other one is Eros fig its different, but the shent doesn't last long on me... that's why I only give it 3 stars.

I love this scent! Its definitely floral but it has deeper more grounded notes that I find hard to describe. It doesn't hit the nose with an intense floral. Its more mature, more nuanced. Warmer

Sex and Jasmine is my signature scent! It’s so lovely and it lasts like crazy.. even after washing clothes I’ve sprayed they still smell!

Mmmmm love this. Super warm, sweet, & salty. Reminds me of golden hour in June. Perfect for a flowy white button down on your porch watching the sunset. Lasts a solid while too. Showed this scent to my dad and he compared it to being out on the lake after a hot day and its finally cooled off because the sun just went down. He likes it. He rarely has any opinions on fragrance, so I call that a win.

Like all of Paraphrase's fragrances, Sex & Jasmine provides a long-lasting scent, even hours later. Very floral and warm. The jasmine, geranium and neroli combined with the sandalwood and vanilla bourbon is wonderful.

Sex and Jasmine is a warm, sensual scent. One that wraps you up and brings out the inner goddess! A fabulous scent and a best seller for a reason.

The dry down is amazing with this perfume... Longevity on skin is not the best, and the scent can be hit or miss with people but when they like it they love it.

Overall Great perfume.

This is the scent I am drawn to when I want to feel extra fine during the dark, cooler, winter evenings.

Sex & Jasmine slinks in with verdant, creamy jasmine; it's green floral nuance highlighted by what I assume is the geranium. As she warms up, the indoles do too, deepening the lush creaminess from before --blooming and dripping. Wearing this in heat really allows the ambergris note to do its thing, lending a beautiful, warm sweatiness. As Sex & Jasmine enters the deep dry down, patchouli's earthiness becomes more noticeable, providing a groundedness that only adds to the scent's sensuality. This is my sexy, summer night Jasmine.

I first discovered this perfume at my favourite vintage store in Vancouver. People tell me I smell great every time I wear this perfume! I also love being able to support a Canadian maker right now.

I love the Sex & Jasmine sent. Its light and floral with the jasmine and has a nice warm undertone. My new summer fragrance!

I wonder if some people expect "Sex and Jasmine" to be deep and moody. In reality, I think it's called that because it smells like jasmine and sweaty human skin, due to its musky and salty notes.

This has quickly become my summer favourite. It's not subtle, it smells a bit like oriental incense, but it just works so well in heat. Jasmine and sandalwood remind me of my vacations in Spain and I associate them with hot weather- that's when Jasmine blooms and when I burn the most incense. I have a travel sized bottle now but I will upgrade to a full bottle when I run out.

I also want to mention that Paraphrase travel sized bottles are a bit larger than industry standard, which was a nice surprise. Most brands offer 10ml (Scentbird is only 8ml), and Paraphrase ones are 15ml, which I think is a good idea, and makes me less nervous about running out of the fragrance too quickly.

I’m obsessed with fragrances, and years ago, my signature scent was BVLGARI Jasmine Noir, way back before I began obsessing over healthy lifestyle and clean perfume. This one is so very close to my old favorite, with the deep and sophisticated Jasmine that’s very “noir”, quite spicy and definitely not sugary and feminine. I got it as part of the sample set and immediately discarded it as a “no”. But I came back to it a couple of days ago and realised how similar it is to my old perfume crush, sultry and deep and at the same time clean ingredients. I’m going to have to purchase the bigger bottle. It is exquisite.

It is sex in a bottle. Romantic and primal. Threw me off first time I ordered the sample , fast forward six months , found that sample and immediately ordered the full bottle.

I purchased a sample of this fragrance, and I was impressed by the thoughtful presentation. The samples arrived complete with a handwritten note from the creator and individual scent cards for each fragrance—a true A+ for attention to detail.

The scent has a a slight vintage vibe imo, likely due to the ambergris note, while the jasmine shines beautifully. In the current cold weather, the sandalwood and patchouli are bit more subdued, giving way to a salty, white floral aroma with the slightest hint of green, likely from the geranium. However, when indoors or near a fire, those warmer notes come alive, blending seamlessly with the others. The craftsmanship in this fragrance is evident, with each note harmoniously contributing to the overall experience.

After a few hours, the fragrance settles into a woody, salty, humid jasmine dry-down that is absolutely stunning. A beautifully balanced creation, without a doubt. Honestly one of my absolute favorites of all time!

It’s so sexy and subtle and a really well blended fragrance.

This is, as advertised, a sexy smell, but a little goes a long way and even one spray can be overpowering for the first 30 min or so, if in a small space.

Not what I expected, non of them hit the warm, earthy notes that I was hoping for

TBH, I didn’t care for this perfume immediately after I put it on. But what a wonderful surprise as it settles and adjusts to your skin. Within 5min I was hooked and couldn’t wait to order more than the original sample. It’s amazing and so different from the mass produced celebrity endorsed perfumes everyone else wears.

Firstly, love how all Libertine scents are unisex. I love the smell of jasmine but wasn't sure how it would smell on me (as a guy) in a fragrance. After purchasing a sample, I've received so many compliments. The scent story on the page about waking up after a night of passion with a cool breeze coming through the window encapsulates it perfectly. The vanilla and sandalwood balance out a lot of the floral of the jasmine. It's truly the perfect blend of scents and I'd highly recommend this for anyone of any sex.

This scent is everything I love; warm, sensual, subtle with a hint of jasmine. Love it!

The base notes in this one are great. Rather heady and longer lasting than most scents. And the jasmin vanilla combo is lovely especially because it’s not a cheesy/baking vanilla but much more elegant. Love it.

I sprayed a small amount on my wrist and loved the top notes. As the fragrance settled into my skin I was entranced by its beauty. I couldn't get enough. I just had to order a large bottle. I wear it every day 🤍

This was one of my favorites from the samples I ordered, so I ordered a full bottle. Really like to wear it when going out, but sometimes around the house.

I put it on after using some Trufitt & Hill aftershave balm, and distinct wood note came forward that I hadn’t smelled previously. Love it

I added this scent to a sample pack on a whim from the description, and once I got it I couldn't stop wearing it. (Spoiler alert: bought the full bottle 💃) It was nothing like what I was looking for in a summery scent - I was thinking citrus and salty, but the warmth that the vanilla and jasmine and sandalwood bring in this with the x factor of the other elements makes this absolutely radiate during the hot weather like a mirage of scent from your skin. I told a friend there was this hint of "rotting bananas but in the best possible way" and I guess that is the animalic aspect? But I'm not a fragrance buff to know specifically.

Anyway, this scent lasts and morphs so long during the day with only a light spritz. I also have received multiple compliments on it, and I LOVE how it makes me feel *in the heat* of summer instead of wafting daintily above somehow. More carnal? 😉

I was looking for a floral, South Asian-inspired fragrance and this one fit the bill perfectly. It smells so good and lasts forever. I was getting compliments on it hours after my initial application. Great quality, will definitely invest in the bigger bottle after it runs out!
