Sweet Grass is warm, slightly sweet and lightly green (hay) and makes me think of lingering late summer almost autumn afternoons and laughing with loved friends. It is easy to wear while still being incredibly unique and intriguing and like nothing I have smelled in a fragrance before. - C
I may have purchased the very last bottle while it was still Libertine Sweet Grass on 12/26. I am a huge collector & this has absolutely captured me with it's scent. One of the best unisex fragrances I've come across, too.
Every single ingredient is identifiable & harmoniously balanced. The rosemary, tobacco, & hay were what drew me & they do not disappoint! Worth every penny, I cannot stop smelling this!
Great bottle, love the wildflower stamp on the cap. Pretty juice.
Best of luck in your new incarnation!
Gave this to my daughter for xmas. It immediately reminded her of her childhood.
That's a precious memory.
Thank you for crafting such a special fragrance.
I bought the sample set ages ago, and Sweet Grass/Grasslands was one where, when I saw the notes, I thought for sure it wasn’t for me- but then I couldn’t put it down. This is the first time I’ve used up an entire sample and counted down the days until I could purchase a full size. On me, it smells like cinnamon and baby powder, with a subtle burst of cool rosemary and soft lavender. It’s so unique yet wearable. On one hand, it makes me feel like I’m sat inside a cafe in Edinburgh at Christmas time, watching the snow fall. On the other hand, it reminds me of the golden grassy hills you find in the Yukon in late summer. Warm and fresh and somehow works for all seasons?? Such a beautiful fragrance, to say the least!
No perfume has ever felt so "me" before - I'm in love. It's both grounding and wistful. So special!
I don’t know what is happening, it’s almost a mystical experience with this Sweetgrass. From the first seconds of it on my skin, I feel like I am in love. That tender, expanding, slow motion feeling in my heart… but in love with who?!
With this tension between familiarity of warm, dry herbs and mystery, intrigue of the transition of greenery into ashes and ether? With unexpected deep connection with my inner sensation of endless warmth and safety? With resonance and chemistry of late summer/early fall abundance archetype? With pre-feeling this transition between seasons and being able to hold this fragile moment?
OMG. I just can’t tolerate the idea that my sample will eventually be gone and ordered a bottle.
